Here is what the finish product will look like:
What you Need:
- NARS All About Eve Eyeshadow Duo
- NARS Portobello Eyeshadow Duo
- NARS Lola Lola Single Eyeshadow
- NARS Budgeproof Eye Primer
- Mascara (I used Cover Girl Lash Blast Fusion)
Disclaimer: You don't have to use the exact same colors or brand as me if you don't have them - pick something similar or that will work for your skin tone. All About Eve is a duo of shimmery flesh-toned shades, Portobello is a duo of matte flesh-tone shades, and Lola Lola is a shimmery cocoa brown shade.
1. Apply your Eye Primer to both eyes. After applied, give it a minute or two to dry.
2. With All About Eve, using a large fluffy shadow brush, pick up some of the color on the Right side of the duo, and apply it all over your lids (eyelash to brow).
3. With Portobello, using you choice of shadow brush, pick up some of the color on the Left side of the duo (the more yellow shade) and apply it on your lid, taking it just above the crease (not to the brow bone!). Blend out any harsh edges.
4. With Portobello, using a crease shadow brush, pick up some of the color on the Right side of the duo and apply it to your crease, going from inner corner to outer corner. Blend out any harsh edges.
5. With Lola Lola, using a stiff-bristled shadow or liner brush (pick what will work best for you), pick up some color and shade in your outer V. Blend well -you should still be able to see the V, but it shouldn't be harshly outlined.
6. With All About Eve, using a fluffy shadow brush, pick up some of the color on the Left side and highlight your brown bone. Using this same color, but with a stiff liner brush, apply the color to your lower lash line, and highlight your inner corner.
7. Apply as many coats of your mascara you desire, and you're done!
You'll be left with a very simple, natural looking eye.
I hope you've enjoyed this tutorial! I find them intimidating to write, but will definitely try a few more in the future.
Have a great weekend!
