GOSH Darling

I do not know why I bought this lipstick.

Well, that's not true. I DO know why I bought this lipstick. I cannot estimate how many YouTube videos I have watched and blog entries I have read where this lipstick was featured. Apparently, most people feel it is the be-all, end-all of nude lipsticks.

I hate it. I can't help but feel like I wasted about $20 CDN (with tax).

There are very few nude lipsticks in my lip-product inventory, mostly because I hate the way they look on me. I am a pale girl at the best of times - including the summer. I am much more drawn to mauve shades, bright pinks, and corals. Nude lips on me make me look like a corpse. This lipstick did this better than all of the others. There is almost no pink in this nude lipstick - its mostly a beige/white color. I put a swatch on the back of my hand, and it is pretty close to being the same color as my skin. If it were not so glossy, I could find new life for this product as a concealer.

Anyhoodles, I am disappointed. I should not have caved to temptation, and should have stuck with my tried-and-tested favorite lip shades.

Do you have any other GOSH lipsticks you recommend instead of Darling? Please let me know!
