Experience Using Product
You can easily tell if you have an old Emotibomb if it takes forever to dissolve in your shower - or if it seems to stop dissolving all together. A fresh one should dissolve in minutes. Additionally, if it is old the scent will be weak - a fresh one has a strong noticeable smell.
The first time I used this Emotibomb, this is exactly what I experienced. I could not smell anything, and it didn’t dissolve properly - it dissolved to a certain point and then it was just a chunk of product at the bottom of my shower. I was disappointed because $4.50 is a lot of money to pay for something that doesn’t work at all. I decided on Boxing Day that I would give this Emotibomb another try, and am I ever glad I did!
The scent of this Emotibomb is something I can’t quite put my finger on yet. It reminds me of the scent of the yellow and orange loops in Fruit Loops. I definitely know the smell reminds me of something else, though - I just can’t remember what! I will figure it out eventually, I’m sure! The scent is sweet and fun - I makes you happy.
Would I Re-Purchase, Recommend, or Reject
I like this Emotibomb - I actually used it last night! The scent leaves me feeling refreshed and awake, like it’s suppose to. It probably wasn’t terribly smart of me to use it in the shower at night though, because I was heading to bed after my shower!
While this isn’t my favorite of the LUSH Emotibombs, I would re-purchase for sure. I can see myself saving these ones for when I’m in a crappy mood, though.
If you are not sure you’re going to like it, definitely get your butt into LUSH and take a whiff before you buy!
