I have horrible eyesight. Take away my glasses or my contacts, and I cannot see very well at all. Everything is a blur.
Recently, I went to the optometrist (a.k.a 'the eye doctor') and had my checkup (I go every 2 years). Thankfully, for the first time ever, my prescription has not changed since my last visit! While I was happy I didn't have to change glasses, I decided I wanted a change and picked up new frames anyway.
Like most things, the first set of fames I spotted and tried on were the ones I decided to buy. I bought the 'Rosa 583' frame from the Coach Eyewear collection. I picked them in the shade 604 - Burgundy. But they also come in two other shades: 001 - Black and 215 -Tortoise. With the frames, you get a Coach case (standard brown Coach monogram), and cleaning cloth. My model also comes with a set of 2 interchangeable rings that I can use to customize the arms of my glasses. The only thing is, I can't figure out how the darn things come off! In any case, I am happy with the way they look.
I would seriously recommend visiting your nearest optometrist over ordering these frames online. The price I paid for the frame alone is $100 to $150 dollars cheaper than what is advertised online. Keep in mind, once you add in the cost of lenses, any treatments to the lenses (no-scratch coating, polarization, transitioning, etc.), etc. you'll be paying a pretty penny for your new specs. But, if they last you two years or more it's well worth the cash. And, if you do have to get a new prescription after two years but you still like your fames, you'll only have to pay to get new lenses put in.
If you have any questions about these glasses, let me know! I wanted to post a link to the Coach website, but imagine my surprise when I discovered the only Eyewear featured on their website is sunglasses! In any case, if you do a search for 'Coach Rosa 583', you will get lots of hits.
Have a great weekend!
