Experience Using Product

Indianwood is a golden bronze cream eye shadow that can be used on its own as an eye shadow, or as an eye shadow base. I use it both ways.

This Paint Pot is very satiny and smooth - there are no big glitter chunks. The shade is shimmery - not matte. It dries relatively quickly. If you want to control the application of this product a bit more, I would suggest using a small concealer brush to apply it rather than your fingers.

You can easily blend this product onto your eyelid and buff the edges so that it doesn’t look to severe on your lids. You can also build the color quite easily.

I really like wearing this Paint Pot with bronze or golden eye shadow on top, to give my eye shadow extra ‘oomph’ and to help the Paint Pot color last longer. It looks awesome with mineralize eye shadows overtop.

Would I Re-Purchase, Recommend, or Reject

I am a fan of Paint Pots in general - they are one of my favorite MAC items to buy. Indianwood is a very pretty color that you can put on by itself for a very simple eye look, or you can be more outgoing and layer other eye shadows on top of it.

Indianwood is not a very ‘me’ color - that’s part of why I put off buying it. I wasn’t convinced that if I bought it, I would get a lot of use out of it. Thankfully, I do use it quite a bit so it was a worthwhile purchase for me.

I would recommend this Paint Pot to you if you don’t already have a cream eye shadow in a bronze shade that you really love. If it is something you’re not going to use regularly, I would avoid buying it - Paint Pots can dry out pretty quickly if you’re not using them.
