Wet-n-Wild Eye Shadow Trio in Shade 335 Silent Treatment, $4.47 CDN @ Wal-Mart.
Reason for Purchase
These trios have gotten rave reviews and I wanted to give them a shot! I have been looking for the new shades (this is one of them) for a few weeks now and finally got my hands on them.
Notable Features
Silent Treatment is a new shade in Wet-n-Wild’s Eye Shadow Trio line. Each color has a specific purpose, which is stamped into the shade: Eyelid, Crease and Browbone.
Packaging
The trio comes in a rectangular black plastic pan with a clear plastic flip top lid. Each shadow pan is a rectangle, and there is a small space at the bottom of the pan where a small sponge applicator and a small brush sit (which I threw away as soon as I opened the trio). The trio is not shrink-wrapped, which is nice. There are three strategically placed stickers to help keep a seal on it and reduce the chance of you picking up a product that has been tampered with.
Experience Using Product
I didn’t notice something very special about this product until I got it home.
All three of the shades in this palette could be used as dupes for NARS shadows.

The first two shades were the closest match to NARS colors - the Browbone color is a bit more peach than NARS Nepal. Still - that’s pretty darn good for a 5 dollar eye shadow trio!
I was very pleased with how these colors applied. They create a great neutral look that I will get a lot of wear out of. Here’s a sample of what I did with this palette yesterday (note: I also used the crease color as a powder liner):
The pigmentation of these shadows is great. I wish the crease shade was darker and more intense - a closer dupe to NARS Mekong. I did not have any fallout applying these shadows and they were easy to blend.
Would I Re-Purchase, Recommend, or Reject
I LOVE this trio. I can see this living in my makeup bag for the foreseeable future. I would absolutely recommend this to you - you can’t go wrong with these shades.
